Where your ID works today
Sites that sign you in with a Poweur ID, social apps where your name works, self-hosted tools you can put behind it, and an email address for everything else. Only what we have tried is listed; it grows as recipes and plugins land.
Sign in with your ID
No account to create and no password. You approve each sign-in in the Poweur app.
Poweur guestbook
A public guestbook that takes a Poweur ID instead of an account. Our own demo of the OpenID Connect bridge, and the quickest way to see what a site learns about you (very little).
indieweb.org
The IndieWeb wiki signs you in with your own website. Type your ID as your website, for example alice.poweur.net, and approve the request in the Poweur app.
Sites that use IndieLogin or IndieAuth
Every Poweur ID is also an IndieAuth profile URL, and it passes the indieauth.rocks server tests. Where a site asks for "your domain" or "your website", try your Poweur ID.
Your AI agent, on its own ID
Message your agent from the Poweur app, end-to-end encrypted. The agent gets its own Poweur ID, never yours, and its profile says who runs it.
A Poweur channel for OpenClaw
Two commands: install the plugin, then openclaw channels add --channel poweur creates the agent's ID and lets only you talk to it. Share a folder with it and what it writes there is yours.
Everywhere else: your email address
Most apps don't offer Sign in with Poweur yet. Your hosted ID receives email at [email protected], so you can sign up to them with it and get their sign-in links, receipts and newsletters in the app, encrypted to you, next to your messages. Block senders or accept mail from contacts only in Settings. Sending is paused for now. How it works
Your name on the social apps you already use
Link your accounts in the app (Settings → Bluesky & Nostr) and your Poweur name works there too. Nothing is published until you link something.
yourname.poweur.net as your handle
In Bluesky, change your handle to your Poweur name and choose "No DNS panel". Paste the code it shows into Poweur, and Bluesky verifies it.
[email protected], verified
Paste your npub into Poweur and set the same address as your NIP-05 identifier: Nostr apps show it as verified. It is the same text as your email address.
@[email protected] finds you
Link your Mastodon or other Fediverse account, and people who search for your Poweur address land on it.
Run it on your own server
Self-hosting? These speak OpenID Connect to the bridge at https://oauth.poweur.org, or to your own bridge.
oauth2-proxy
Put Sign in with Poweur in front of any self-hosted web app, even one with no login of its own. Tested against oauth2-proxy 7.12 in our CI.
Keycloak
Add Poweur as an OpenID Connect identity provider in a Keycloak realm, and every app behind that realm gains the button. Tested against Keycloak 26.3.
Authentik
Add Poweur as an OpenID Connect source in Authentik. Tested against Authentik 2026.8.
Matrix (Synapse + Element)
Host a Discord-like chat where people sign in with their Poweur ID and become @their-id:your-server. Tested against Synapse 1.162.
Grafana and other OpenID Connect apps
Anything that supports a generic OpenID Connect provider can use https://oauth.poweur.org. Register your app in the developer console with your Poweur ID; no approval needed.
Add Sign in with Poweur
Verify a signed approval directly with the Go or TypeScript library, no bridge in between.
Coming next
Immich, Vaultwarden, Memos, HedgeDoc, Miniflux
Tested step-by-step recipes for popular self-hosted apps, each with a login test that runs every night, so this page only lists what works today.
Hermes
The same Poweur channel for Hermes: its own ID, messages from your phone, shared folders.
Native providers upstream
Poweur as a built-in choice in identity providers and apps, as plugins first and upstream contributions after.
